PURSUANT TO THE LOCAL EMERGENCY CONCERNING THE COVID-19 VIRUS DECLARED BY THE BREA CITY COUNCIL ON MARCH 19, 2020 AND EXECUTIVE ORDER N-29-20 ISSUED BY GOVERNOR GAVIN NEWSOM ON MARCH 18, 2020, THE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING WILL BE CONDUCTED BOTH IN THE BREA CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS AND TELEPHONICALLY VIA THE ZOOM TELECONFERENCING PLATFORM. THESE GUIDELINES MAY BE UPDATED UP TO AND DURING THE MEETING AS NEEDED TO IMPLEMENT GUIDANCE AND DIRECTION FROM FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES. Procedures for Addressing the Commission The Commission encourages public participation during Public Hearings and under Matters from the Audience. State Law prohibits the Commission from responding to or acting upon matters not listed on this agenda. To limit the spread the COVID-19 virus, the Council Chambers will not be open to the public. Public comments will be accepted in in writing, a separate location on-site, and by teleconference. The meeting will also be broadcast live at www.cityofbrea.net.
