Procedures for Addressing the Council
The Council encourages interested people to address this legislative body by making a brief presentation on a public hearing item when the Mayor calls the item or address other items under Matters from the Audience. State Law prohibits the City Council from responding to or acting upon matters not listed on this agenda.

10.   July 11, 2017 City Council Regular Meeting Minutes - Approve.
 
11.   April 24, 2017 Parks, Recreation and Human Services Meeting Minutes and May 24, 2017 Special Parks, Recreation and Human Services Meeting Minutes - Receive and File.
 
12.   Traffic Signal Modification on Imperial Highway at Imperial Center East and Brea Union Plaza - 1) Authorize City Engineer to Accept and Execute Permanent Traffic Signal Easements from Brea Union Plaza I, LLC and Brea Union Plaza II, LLC ("BUP Easements"); and 2) Authorize City Engineer to sign the Commitment Letter Concurring to Transfer the BUP Easements and Two Existing City Easements ("City Easements") to the State of California Transportation Department ("Caltrans"); and 3) Authorize City Engineer to Execute the Quit Claim Easement Documents for the BUP Easements and City Easements to Caltrans Upon Completion of the Signal Improvements. The Cost Associated with this Action is Borne by the Property Owner.
 
13.   Utility Cost Recovery and Reduction Services - 1) Approve the Professional Services Agreement with Cost Control Associates, Inc. to Provide Utility Cost Recovery and Reduction Services; 2) Authorize the City Manager to Exercise the Optional One-Year Extensions; and 3) Authorize the City Manager to Execute Amendments for Additional Utility Cost Reduction Services at the Same Rates, If Desired. All Fees Will Be Paid to the Consultant Only After Refunds are Received and Cost Reductions are Realized.
 
14.   Rental of Digital Mailing System Equipment - Authorize the Purchasing Agent to Issue Purchase Orders to MailFinance for a Total Not-to-Exceed $26,885 (Plus Applicable Taxes) Based on a Sixty (60) Month Rental of Digital Mailing System Equipment. The Fiscal Year 2017-18 Budget Has Sufficient Funding Available in the Administrative Services Department's Purchasing Division Account (110-14-1441-4253). Staff Projects There will be a Savings of $8,820 to the General Fund Over the Five (5) Year Agreement.
