Chair McGrade opened the Study Session and a verbal roll call was taken.

3. VEHICLE MILES TRAVELED (VMT) UPDATE

Principal Engineer, Ryan Chapman and and Traffic Engineer, Dave Roseman, gave a presentation on Vehicle Miles Traveled and how this will affect future traffic studies.

Commissioner Barnes-Ramos led the pledge of allegiance.
             
6. MATTERS FROM THE AUDIENCE

Brea Chamber President, Heidi Gallegos, wished City Planner Lilley well and thanked her for her hard work and collaboration.
             
7. COMMENDATION - COMMENDATION FOR CITY PLANNER JENNIFER LILLEY

Staff presented a Commendation to City Planner Jennifer Lilley for her years of service.
             
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
             
8. Approval of Planning Commission Meeting Minutes of May 26, 2020.
  Motion was made by Vice Chair Brattain, seconded by Commissioner Schlotterbeck to approve the April 28, 2020 Planning Commission Meeting Minutes.
 
AYES: Chair McGrade, Commissioner Schlotterbeck, Commissioner Barnes-Ramos, Vice Chair Brattain, Commissioner Phu

PUBLIC HEARINGS
             
9. Conditional Use Permit No. CUP 20-08 – A Request to Allow an Office Trailer, Storage Containers and Outdoor Storage for Two Years at 711 West Imperial Highway

Contract Planner, Sheri Vander Dussen, provided a presentation of the project.

After a brief discussion, Chair McGrade opened the Public Hearing.

The Applicant said he was available for questions.

Dwight Manley, property owner, spoke about previous homelessness on the property, stating the benefits of the project for the community.

Hearing no further testimony, Chair McGrade closed the Public Hearing.

Commission expressed thier approval for the project and Chair McGrade asked for a motion.
  Motion was made by Vice Chair Brattain, seconded by Commissioner Schlotterbeck to approve Conditional Use Permit No. CUP 20-08 – A Request to Allow an Office Trailer, Storage Containers and Outdoor Storage for Two Years at 711 West Imperial Highway
