Procedures for Addressing the Council
The Council encourages interested people to address this legislative body by making a brief presentation on a public hearing item when the Mayor calls the item or address other items under Matters from the Audience. State Law prohibits the City Council from responding to or acting upon matters not listed on this agenda.  This meeting is being conducted consistent with Governor Newsom’s Executive Order N-29-20 dated March 17, 2020, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Public Comments can be submitted in writing to the City Clerk at cityclerksgroup@cityofbrea.net and will be summarized at the meeting by the City Clerk. Please submit your written comments by Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at noon. If you wish to attend the City Council meeting in person, Community Rooms A and B located on the 2nd Floor of the Brea Civic and Cultural Center at 1 Civic Center Circle, Brea, California 92821, will be open for the public to offer public comment. The City of Brea will comply with the CDC’s recommendation to limit gatherings to no more than 10 people. Council Members will attend the meeting in-person and via electronic communication.
