Procedures for Addressing the Council
The Council encourages interested people to address this legislative body by making a brief presentation on a public hearing item when the Mayor calls the item or address other items under Matters from the Audience. State Law prohibits the City Council from responding to or acting upon matters not listed on this agenda.

The Council encourages free expression of all points of view. To allow all persons the opportunity to speak, please keep your remarks brief. If others have already expressed your position, you may simply indicate that you agree with a previous speaker. If appropriate, a spokesperson may present the views of your entire group. 19.   April 18, 2017 City Council Regular Meeting Minutes - Approve.
 
20.   March 27, 2017 Parks, Recreation and Human Services Commission Meeting Minutes - Receive and File.
 
21.   Sewer Lift Station for La Floresta Development - 1) Adopt Resolution 2017-029 to Accept Irrevocable Offers to Dedicate Lot QQ of Tract 17150 for Sewer Lift Station, 2) Accept Sewer Lift Station Improvements, 3) Approve Access Easement Agreement for Sewer Lift Station. The On-going Maintenance Cost will be Covered by the Sewer Fund.
 
22.   Central Avenue And Tamarack Avenue Intersection Improvement, Project 7310 - Approve Plans and Specifications and Authorize City Clerk to Advertise and Receive Bids. Based on the Probable Construction Estimate of $550,000 an Additional $200,000 has been Proposed for FY 2017-2018 CIP to Fully Fund the Project. The Project is Funded with Fund 220 (Gas Tax).
 
23.   Commercial Roofing Systems, Inc. for Civic & Cultural Center Roof Replacement, Phase 2, Project 7928 in the Amount of $116,278.00  - 1) Adopt Resolution 2017-030 to Appropriate an Additional $85,000 from the Fixed Asset Replacement Fund, FARP (Fund 182), for Project Construction and Project Administration and 2) Receive Bids, Proceed with the Award of an Informal Contract to Commercial Roofing Systems, Inc. in the Amount of $116,278.00, and Authorize Public Works Director or his Designee to Issue Contract Changes Up to a “Not to Exceed” Amount of 15% of the Contract. The Total Approved Budget for the Project is $425,000 with Funding Coming from the FARP (Fund 182). The Remaining Budget Amount is Approximately $69,000.  Therefore, in Order to Award the Contract to Commercial  Roofing, Inc. ($116,278), with a Recommended 15% Contract Change Order Contingency ($17,442), and Construction Engineering Support ($20,058), Staff is Requesting City Council to Consider an Additional $85,000 from the FARP Fund (Fund 182).
